Welcome!The Evangelical Christian Union (or ECU for short) is a university society of Christian health science students who meet regularly together at the Cumberland Campus of the University of Sydney.
If you this is your first year at the Cumberland Campus ... welcome! We have a number of activities to help welcome you on to campus, and let you know more about our group and activities. For more information - click here! We’re a University club with a difference… we’re all about following Jesus. This might sound strange if you’re not a Christian, but we believe that God has made Jesus Christ the Lord of the world by raising him from the dead. Because of this, all people everywhere – including us at Uni - have the freedom and responsibility to start to live a new way of life centred on God. We meet to train and encourage each other for a lifetime of Christian service and we seek to present the news about Jesus to our friends and colleagues. Feel free to browse around the website. We often say that we serve God and do all kinds of things for his glory. But have you ever stopped to consider what that might mean. Is it the same as saying I do it for God? What can I do to give God glory? What is the glory of God anyway? Doesn't this make God self centered if it is all about him? Does it even matter? Come and learn with us as we explore, "All for the Glory of God." Be blown away as we realise how this affects our lives, our priorities and our mission. Public MeetingsLarge public Bible talks in a lecture-esque format. Public Meeting is a great place to learn and have an encounter with God according to the Holy Bible. Everyone is welcome!

Small GroupsSmall groups are a great opportunity for you to read and investigate the Bible to about God in an open, relaxing atmosphere. Groups are made according to year and course, so you can meet other people you are studying with.

Prepared to ServePrepared to Serve is where students get thinking about certain topics with a Christian perspective. Additionally, PTS aims to equip students to serve at ECU or your church and to faithfully witness to the Lordship of Christ by teaching sound theological and ministry skills!
