The Evangelical Christian Union (or ECU for short) is a university society of Christian health science students who meet regularly together at the Cumberland Campus of the University of Sydney.
If you this is your first year at the Cumberland Campus ... welcome! We have a number of activities to help welcome you on to campus, and let you know more about our group and activities. For more information - click here!
We’re a University club with a difference… we’re all about following Jesus. This might sound strange if you’re not a Christian, but we believe that God has made Jesus Christ the Lord of the world by raising him from the dead. Because of this, all people everywhere – including us at Uni - have the freedom and responsibility to start to live a new way of life centred on God. We meet to train and encourage each other for a lifetime of Christian service and we seek to present the news about Jesus to our friends and colleagues.
Feel free to browse around the website. There is further information about ECU, but you can always contact us with any questions, or come visit one of our meetings through the week. We’d love to get to know you and make you feel welcome.
MID YEAR CONFERENCE (MYC) 2017
The truth the resurrection is one of the core beliefs of Christianity. But people often have questions about its certainty and relevance.
Did Jesus really rise from the dead? If so, why? Where do people go after they die? Will life after death be any different from how it is now? How can I be sure?
But this future hope isn’t just reserved for when we think about death. It immediately changes the way we think about God, ourselves and the world. But how?
Join us for five days’ worth of understanding this massive topic from the Bible about RESURRECTION.
